Established in Brisbane in 1995, Industrial Decontamination Services Pty Ltd is the leading provider of specialist decontamination programs for personal protective equipment, protective garments and clothing (PPE).
The company facilitates the decontamination of protective equipment to ensure that the equipment which is often expensive to replace, is fully utilised and cost effective. By introducing the more expensive, better quality PPE and controlling the costs, the safety and environmental benefits are significant.
Through our association with Advancetex we can together provide clients with a whole of life filtration solution from design, supply installation and now safe and environmentally friendly disposal and reuse of materials.
In addition to PPE our Gladstone operations has been built to decontaminate both wet and dry filtration bags and pads. These bags often contain heavy metals and other environmental poisons and were formerly sent to regulated waste disposal sites or landfill.
Using our techniques the filters are now being processed to a point where the material is decontaminated and the polymer fabrics are turned into a resin form which can be sold as raw material feed stock for the manufacture into new filter bags, added to plastic products or even as an inert aggregate material for drainage and back fill.
In summary our process closes the filter bag loop by offering an environmentally responsible and cost effective solution to the disposal of filter bags.
